Maxine earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ohio Dominican University. Maxine has worked with several community mental health agencies in the Franklin County area delivering mental health services both in an office and home based setting. Working with individuals and families to create holistic wellness has been a passion of Maxine’s for quite some time.


Maxine also holds a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) license which has enabled her to work very closely with the Franklin County Municipal Court Opiate Extension Program (OEP) in an effort to decriminalize and assist those individuals and families affected by addiction.

Maxine specializes in Addiction and Anger Management but is not limited to working with individuals/families who only wish to work on these areas of their lives. Maxine uses a collaborative approach with her clients to ensure that their specific needs are being met. Maxine is a member of the Ohio Counseling Association (OCA).
