Phil’s entry to the counseling profession follows a rich and successful career in engineering. He earned his Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters’ in Leadership from Mid-America Christian University, and a Master’s of Counselor Education at Ohio University. The State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board licensed him as a Professional Counselor.
Phil is driven by a life-long passion for supporting others to overcome barriers to their desired success in school, their families, our communities, and in their work. He has experience with diverse groups of clients including adolescents, young adults, couples, and seniors. His treatment approach focuses on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy while recognizing the importance of client motivation.
Phil enjoys spending time with his family, photography, reading, and writing in his rare spare time. He is a lifelong Ohioan, living the majority of his life in central Ohio.
